Girls Trip in Tennessee

The article written by Geraldo Russo

Recently, I met up with three high school friends to have a long, relaxing, just-us-girls weekend in Tennessee. Before I got there, however, I used my hughes net North Carolina to go online and and make some plans for the vacation.

The first thing I did online was research airfare using my hughes internet satellite. I was coming from the Wilmington, North Carolina, area and my girlfriends were driving from the Kansas City, Missouri, area, so somehow we had to meet up. Our final destination was about two hours east of Nashville, Tenessee, in a cabin owned by one of my girlfriend’s family. What I ended up doing was finding a killer deal on a flight from Charlotte to Nashville arriving about the time my friends would be driving through there. It was a no brainer to research flights online; dozens of sites at the touch of my fingertips made finding the right flight at the right price a cinch.

Once the travel arrangements were worked out, and since our lodging was already in place, I next used the internet to look up things to do in the middle eastern part of Tennessee. Even though we were going to be staying in a rural area, I was able to find a few wineries with tours and tasting, a bevy of shopping options, and other local tourist options through the internet.
