While watching TV, I began clicking through a variety of channels. At that point, I really could not find anything interesting on the screen, no matter what channel I tried. Before I shut it off, I decided to watch a few minutes of some of the shows that I usually pass on. None of them appealed to me. Then I got to the re-runs of “Desperate Housewives,” and I immediately became captivated by the show.

I saw the show advertised several times. I did not think I would enjoy it. Allowing myself to watch just several minutes of it, I discovered what has now become my favorite TV show. I started watching the first and second season shows, and now I watch the re-runs repeatedly. I find that the plots are ingenious. The acting is truly superb. I enjoy every minute of the three hours that they are on, back-to-back, daily.

I have never laughed so hard at anything before now. Yet, the show has its more dramatic and serious moments, as well. Therefore, if my family or friends want to know where I am between 3pm and 6pm Monday through Friday, they will always find me having a cup of coffee and watching “Desperate Housewives” on my Direc4u satellite television!
